ProtoFrenz 3.0 is a pre-programmed ESP32-based LED face controller built specifically for protogens, fursuits, helmets, and wearable builds. What It Does

• Voice-reactive mouth animation — opens and closes in real time as you speak
• Animated RGB gradients — 7 pride flag presets (Rainbow, Pan, Trans, Lesbian, NB, Ace, Bi) plus fully custom color stops
• 134-preset face library — 52+ eye shapes, 33+ mouths, 24+ noses, all designed for protogen builds. Or draw your own custom face pixel-by-pixel directly in the WebUI.
• 4 independent expressions (Idle, Surprised, Angry, Dead) — each with its own face, gradient, color, and behavior. One tap on the boop sensor to cycle. Auto-reverts to Idle after configurable timeout.
• Dance Mode — audio-reactive face with VU meter, beat flash, and gradient overdrive
• Music Mode — full spectrum analyzer in 4 styles: Bars, Mirror, Waterfall, Pulse (or Auto-cycle)
• Glitch Mode — 8-second digital chaos sequence that looks like your suit just crashed and rebooted
• WiFi WebUI — configure everything from your phone, no app needed. Per-expression face editing with pixel-level bitmap drawing, full gradient editor, button and touch sensor remapping, brightness, mic sensitivity, live diagnostics, factory reset. No account, no cloud.
• Onboard NeoPixel indicator — changes color based on your current expression or mode, so you always know your current attitude at a glance without checking a phone or app

• WiFi: 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz AP mode — no router required. Can be toggled off to save battery.
• Storage: NVS (Non-Volatile Storage) — all settings survive power cycles

Compatible Heads

MK3, MK5, and Cipher (Squared) head bases. Not compatible with MK2, Iris, Nyx, or ZillionRoss for HUB75.
