    Extend your ProtoFrenz electronics coverage beyond the included 90-day warranty. The ProtoFrenz Product Protection Plan picks up where your included warranty leaves off — same coverage, same terms, just longer.

    Available for Studio heads, D-Lux heads, and ProtoFrenz electronics kit builds (EK-PF3, EK-WF1, EK-Nano). Select your extension length at checkout.

    What's Covered

    • Controller board failure not caused by physical damage or user modification
    • Display module failure (dead pixels, loss of function)
    • Microphone or touch sensor failure
    • Fan failure
    • Wiring failures from ProtoFrenz assembly
    • Display Upgrade labor (MAX7219 → NeoPixel) — parts billed at cost

    What's Not Covered

    • Physical damage — drops, crushing, water or liquid damage
    • Damage from unauthorized modification or incorrect power supply
    • Normal cosmetic wear — visor scratches, shell scuffs
    • Parts costs for any repair or upgrade
    • Third-party or non-ProtoFrenz components

    How It Works

    • Your extension stacks on top of the included 90-day warranty — coverage begins at day 91
    • Non-transferable — coverage applies to the original purchaser only
    • You'll need your original ProtoFrenz order number when submitting a service request
    • Coverage is for electronics only — head base, visor, fins, and cosmetic parts are not included

    Pricing

    • 6-Month Extension — $45 (~$7.50/month). Extends coverage to 9 months total from your original order date.
    • 12-Month Extension — $75 (~$6.25/month). Extends coverage to 15 months total from your original order date. Best value.

    Compare to out-of-warranty repair: Electronics Swap starts at $90 labor + parts. A single repair call costs more than a full year of coverage.

    How to Submit a Warranty Claim

    1. Contact us via the support form with your original order number and a description of the issue
    2. We'll confirm eligibility and send shipping instructions — do not send anything before receiving instructions
    3. Strip your head to the bare base before shipping — remove ears, fur, cheeks, and accessories
    4. Ship to the address provided. ProtoFrenz covers return shipping on approved warranty claims.
    5. Turnaround is typically 1–2 weeks from receipt

    Product arrived great and is in good condition.u unfortunately cut it wrong and messed it up. So I probably wont work on the proof anymore. But the product itself is amazing and would recomend for any proto build.

    Print was messy but nothing that can't be fixed with a bit of sand paper. I already needed to sand it to paint it so it's no big deal. Other than that, it's works and I love it! <3
